The purpose of the business trip was to present ideas and products in the territory of Latin America. The first visit took place at the Ministry of Agriculture in Panama, where our representatives were received by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dr. Esteban Girón. The meeting brought an open dialogue about the possibilities and prospects of cooperation between Panamanian farmers and ROKOSAN LATAM. Subsequently, we visited the former Minister of Agriculture and a prominent entrepreneur Dr. Jorge Arango and discussed possibilities of cooperation in the Panamanian market.
Our representatives participated in the ceremonial opening of the Panamanian branch of Rokosan Latam. The young Panamanian team is presented by Carolina Rey and Nelson Enrique Roa.
After moving to Bogotá, we visited the Colombian branch of Rokosan Latam. The discussion with the Colombian team gave us insight into the certification process in Colombia. Company engineers Jairo Sáchica and Javier Guarín presented the marketing strategy and presentation materials.
In Bogotá, we also visited Elite Flower Farmers, a significant global flower producer. The presentation of Rokosan and our ecological products convinced the representatives of Elite Flower Farmers of the quality of the products and provided us space for product testing on their premises.
In cooperation with Latin America, we see the future and wish the partners in Rokosan Latam much success.
PhDr Štefan Szöke: It is necessary to mention that it is more than symbolic that our trip to Colombia was accompanied by the visit of Pope Francis. He arrived in Bogotá 2 hours after our arrival and left an hour before our departure. That was also one of the reasons why we evaluate our mission very positively. Colombians are people very similar to our nature, very open, friendly, creative, and hardworking. Unfortunately, those few photos from Bogotá and surroundings - places Chia, Zipaquirá, and Nemocón - do not have sufficient expressive value about this amazing country.
