The public could enjoy food tastings, visitors could see agricultural machinery, stroll through unique gardens and fields, admire the cultivated fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers and much more (among many, mention the ENVIRO exhibition, an exhibition dedicated to promoting and applying the principles of sustainable living, a presentation on bio-waste processing and food waste in Pavilion B, Interactive Pavilion F - "Innovate the Countryside", National Specialties Festival, Farmers' Markets).
Traditional thematic events and exhibitions were not missing – Fruit of the Year (5th edition), Vegetable of the Year (4th edition), regularly organized by the Slovak Gardeners' Association, also supported by its long-term partner Rokosan Ltd. This year's exhibition was visited by thousands of visitors, leaving a deep impression and an aesthetic experience. At the same time, it motivated them to grow their own fruit and vegetables, or flowers, in their own garden or plot.
The exhibited items were also appreciated by the jury (awards were presented by: Mayor of Nitra Mr. Jozef Dvonč, Secretary of SZZ Mr. Juraj Korček, and Sales Manager of Rokosan Mr. Marek Szöke). Among the awards, of course, were products of the Rokosan brand, which are increasingly gaining recognition among customers. Proudly among our customers is also Gabriela Matečná, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic (in the photo). As she told us, the geraniums in her garden would not be so beautiful without Rokohumín liquid and Rokosan L for annuals.
Such a compliment definitely pleases us, and we believe that within the National Program for the Support of Agricultural Products and Food, we will continue to develop cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in joint projects for food security and self-sufficiency of Slovak agriculture.
